    The Bellefonte Little League's Board of Directors has voted to remove the "player pitch" restriction for incoming 8, 9 and 10 year olds. 

     

    What does this mean? as of Jan. 6th 2019. Any Little League age 9 and 10 year olds will be eligible for the Major League Draft if they 1. register and 2. complete Little League's minium requirements for tryout participation. Little League 8 year olds may still particapate in a player pitch division but it is no longer necessary to be elegable for the Major League draft. 

     

    Bellefonte Little League age and division format changes. 
    Starting 2017 effecting Little League 8, 9, and 10 year old players. Any player to be eligible for selection into the Major League, as a Little League age 9 or 10 year old, must play at least 1 year in a Kid Pitch Division.  Incoming 9 and 10 y/o LL age will be grandfathered for the 2016/17 Seasons.
     
    What does this mean for the 2017 season?
    The 2017 draft all players ages 9&10 who complete the evaluation (tryouts) and live or go to school with in the Bellefonte Little League boundaries will be eligible for selection into the Major League.
     

    For any player Little League 8 years old in the 2017 season to be considered for the 2018 (+) major league as a 9 year old. They must participate in the minor league player pitch division (as a LL 8 year old). Along with attending 50% of the 2018 evaluation (tryouts), and live or go to school within the Bellefonte Little League boundaries.
